Construction firm Turner recently broke ground on the $41-million Texas A&M University at Galveston project.

The company will build a new 5,016 m2 (54,000 sf) engineering classroom and research building for the university.

The three-story building will house seven departments and will feature administrative offices and conference space, active learning spaces, research laboratory space, group study collaboration areas, and a technology maker space.

The building is expected to be completed in fall 2025.
