A new headquarters for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will be in the historical St. Elizabeths West Campus in Washington.
The project involves constructing a new 58,528 m2 (630,000 sf) federal building that will house CISA in a new sustainable facility.
The investment includes approximately $80 million to purchase low-embodied carbon construction materials such as asphalt, concrete, glass, and steel; and $35 million to meet high-performance green building standards. These investments aim to promote domestic manufacturing and clean energy industries.
Clark Construction will lead the $524 million construction.
