This spring, design and construction professionals can expand their horizons at CxEnergy—a building commissioning and energy management conference running April 24 to 27 at Florida’s Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. The event will feature networking, learning, and exhibition opportunities as well as more than 30 speakers from a range of organizations and disciplines.
The conference offers six hours of exhibit time and no competing seminars. Pre-conference workshops are also available, offering professionals the opportunity to obtain Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) and Energy Management Professional (EMP) certifications.
Once at the conference, attendees can earn professional credits such as American Institute of Architects (AIA) and CxA credits from seminars, which feature various topics including:
- building envelope commissioning;
- American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) energy standards;
- building automation systems (BAS) cybersecurity;
- energy audits; and
- lighting controls.
The exhibit hall will also offer participants an opportunity to view and discuss products and services such as controls, software, and metering devices. Finally, networking opportunities such as two receptions, daily breakfasts, and a meet-and-greet will be open to attendees.
CxEnergy is presented by Associated Air Balance Council (AABC), AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), and Energy Management Association (EMA). Registration can be completed online.
