This fall, concrete experts from all parts of the industry will convene in Anaheim, California, for the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Convention and Exposition. Not only does the event offer exhibits and educational sessions, but it also provides a wide range of networking events. It runs October 15 to 19.

All expo events will take place at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and will reflect the convention’s theme of “Making Connections.” The event takes place concurrently with the 13th International Symposium on Fiber-reinforced Polymer Reinforcement of Concrete structures, set for October 14 and 15. Attendees can choose from a selection of more than 300 committee meetings and almost 40 technical sessions.

The convention itself is hosted by ACI’s Southern California Chapter, and features events such as the Women in ACI Reception, Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards Gala, and International Workshop on Structural Concrete: Technology Advancement and Adoption in the Americas. There will also be a student lunch, featuring speaker Conrad Paulson of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates (WJE).

The exhibit hall includes a cyber café and plays host to exhibitor demonstrations on October 14 and 15. Attendance is expected to comprise more than 2000 engineers, architects, contractors, and manufacturers.

To register, visit the show’s website before September 25.
