The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) announced the winners of its national awards highlighting the best of indoor spaces.
The awards represent the highest level of excellence in the interior design community and honor those who have made significant contributions to the profession. The following recipients will receive their recognition July 18 at Celebration, ASID’s annual gala in Boston:
- Designer of Distinction: Sonya Dufner, director of workplace strategy at Gensler New York;

“This year’s recipients play a critical role in the advancement of the interior design profession and the impact design has in our everyday lives, our culture, and society as a whole,” said Stephanie Clemons, national chair of ASID. “The remarkable work represented by these individuals speaks powerfully to the depth and excellence of important design work happening across the country through healthcare design, education, research, environmental design, and workplace design.”
