New sheet metal resource released

Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) has released its first edition of, Architectural Sheet Metal Quality Assurance Guide. This manual is intended to act as an evaluating and inspection tool for exterior sheet metal components for both owners and professional inspectors.  Additionally, the publication contains explanations of various metals and methods of installation, the concept of redundancy, and building envelope fabrication tolerances. This manual is intended to be a supplementary text to both SMACNA’s Architectural Sheet Metal Manual, 7^th edition, and the Standard Practice in Sheet Metal Work, 1929 edition.
