The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has released AISI D310-14, Design Examples for the Design of Profiled Steel Diaphragm Panels Based on AISI S310-13. This guide is a supporting resource for the AISI S310, North American Standard for the Design of Profiled Steel Diaphragm Panels, which was originally published in September 2014. AISI D310-14 provides examples illustrating design applications, as well as provisions for profiled steel decks or panels, guides for determining the strengths and stiffness of diaphragms formed with wide rib decks, profiled panels, and panels with insulation. Both standards can be downloaded for free at www.aisistandards.org.
