Alaska resort to be transformed into a modern global destination

The addition of new and renovated facilities at Alyeska Resort in Chugach Mountains, Alaska, will have new accommodations and amenities, workforce housing, and will include the Glacier Creek area.

Phase 1 of the project has two components—the Alyeska Village and Moose Meadow. The Village will include 30,193 m2 (325,000 sf) of new facilities such as new hotel accommodations, condominium development, as well as a new conference center.

Moose Meadows will provide 11,612 m2 (125,000 sf) of space, including 2,322 m2 (25,000 sf) of workforce housing and retail amenities, a 1,858 m2 (20,000 sf) community center, daycare facility, and an outdoor, covered hockey rink.

Mass timber will be used for signature elements of the development, with elements of indigenous culture and heritage.
Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2025.
