Architectural firms form partnership to expand reach across U.S.

CannonDesign has welcomed architecture and interior design firm, SRG Partnership, based in Portland and Seattle, into its fold, marking a merger that combines the strengths of both firms in a new entity titled, SRG + CannonDesign.

Both SRG Partnership and CannonDesign share a commitment to designing spaces that foster wellbeing for people, communities, and the environment. With a focus on health and wellness, education, science and technology, sports and recreation, and culture, the firms aim to work toward transformative design and expand their outreach.

Under the leadership of CannonDesign’s CEO Bradley Lukanic, AIA, SRG + CannonDesign will utilize their collective talent to create positive impacts within and beyond communities.

SRG’s president Lisa Petterson, leading a team of more than 60 employees, brings over 50 years of storied history in the Pacific Northwest, known for sustainable projects such as the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Knight Cancer Research Building and the Multnomah County Central Courthouse.

CannonDesign looks forward to expanding its influence with SRG + CannonDesign, now with 18 offices and nearly 1,300 employees across North America and India.

The alliance is set to bring new opportunities for both teams, clients, and the communities they serve, aligning with their shared values of innovation, sustainability, and social impact.
