Page, a multidisciplinary design, architecture, and engineering firm, with nationwide operations, has expanded its presence in New York City with the acquisition of Davis Brody Bond.
Davis Brody Bond is renowned for its work on iconic projects such as the National September 11 Memorial Museum, the Perelman Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center site, and the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C.
“Bringing Davis Brody Bond into the Page family is a significant step for our firm. We’ve been thoughtfully assessing the best way to extend our presence into New York City, and given our past collaboration with Davis Brody Bond, we knew the firm shared our design ethos and client-first approach. We both understand the intricacies of designing complex projects that exceed our clients’ expectations,” says Thomas McCarthy, CEO at Page.
The collaboration between the two firms is not new; they previously worked together on notable projects such as the U.S. Embassy in The Republic of Kosovo and the U.S. Embassy Compound in Jakarta, Indonesia. These projects showcased their ability to design technologically advanced, and sustainable spaces aligned with the highest standards.
Steven M. Davis, partner at Davis Brody Bond, emphasized the significance of the partnership in the context of evolving professional landscapes: “Today, architects, planners, engineers, and designers have an opportunity to reflect and rethink what we have to offer that is relevant to the world and our profession.”
Davis Brody Bond partners, including Davis, Will Paxson, Carl Krebs, and Christopher Grabé, will become principals at Page, with Mark Wagner, the architect for the National September 11 Memorial Museum, also joining as a principal. Davis will serve as an advisor to Page’s board of directors.
The firm’s longstanding presence in the New York metro area includes notable projects such as the Helena Theurer Pavilion and ongoing restoration work on Ellis Island. The addition of Davis Brody Bond’s team further strengthens Page’s commitment to design excellence and client-focused innovation in the dynamic New York City landscape.
