The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) is searching for North American asphalt roofing projects for its 2016 Quality Asphalt Roofing Case Study (QARC) Awards.
Both commercial and residential projects are being accepted. The competition is open to architects, specifiers, contractors, and consultants working with asphalt products. The top three projects demonstrating beauty, affordability, and reliability of asphalt roofing will take a prize.
“The gold, silver, and bronze winners of the QARC awards program are selected by leaders in the roofing industry,” said ARMA executive vice president, Reed Hitchcock. “Previous recipients have been chosen for the beauty their project displays, as well as how it demonstrates the benefits of asphalt roofing systems from weather protection and energy efficiency, to fire and wind resistance. QARC winners demonstrate the breadth of performance that asphalt roofing systems provide.”
Submissions for both new construction and renovations will be accepted until December 31. Roofing professionals can submit as many projects as they want at no additional cost. To enter, one must describe the project and explain why and how asphalt products were used, and include high-resolution photos.
