Published by WIT Press, Eco-Architecture V: Harmonisation between Architecture and Nature, contains papers of presentations presented at the fifth International Conference on Harmonisation between Architecture and Nature (Eco-Architecture 2014). It is the latest in a series organized by the Wessex Institute, and held in association with the University of Siena. The goal of the conference, and as a result this book, was to demonstrate the design process should aim for sustainable solutions through the adaptation of architecture to a natural environment. Authors of this book include engineers, planners, scientists, and architects offering information on developing building designs that will benefit society and the planet. The full text, or individual articles, is available at witpress.com/elibrary[1].
