Florida affordable family housing project receives recognition for concrete use

Build With Strength, an initiative of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), has revealed the recipients of the 2024 Concrete Innovations Award.

The program celebrates accomplishments in the design and construction of concrete structures where an NRMCA member company was involved in supplying products or services to the project. The following were the ten winners selected:

  • 681 Florida Street­­­, an affordable family housing in San Francisco
  • Cement-Free Concrete (C-Crete) in Hubbard’s Corner project in Seattle
  • Gig Harbor’s Habitat for Humanity
  • Indiana University Ferguson International Center
  • MnDOT I-35 W Stormwater Storage Facility
  • New Canaan Library in Connecticut
  • Prologis Nexus in San Leandro, Calif.
  • SFO Harvey Milk Terminal 1 Boarding Area B
  • Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance
  • The Hope Center + Berkeley Way Apartments in California
