The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) awarded four members who have continued to make important contributions to the society throughout their 25-year memberships with Lifetime Awards.

“This award is intended to recognize members who have continually raised the bar at ASID across decades of membership,” said the group’s CEO Randy Fiser. “Their engagement goes beyond keeping their membership current. They have demonstrated constant involvement and contributions to their chapters and to the society.”

The winners include:

  • Carl Clark, professor emeritus of interior design at Northern Arizona University—president of California Palm Springs Inland Chapter in 1984 and was on the society’s national board as regional vice-president in 1986;
  • Jane-Page Crump, president of Jane-Page Design Group—president of Texas Gulf Coast Chapter in 1993;
  • Joan Menhenett, owner of Joan Menhenett Interior Design—Orange County Chapter president from 1985–1986 and national board member from 1987–1988; and
  • Michael Thomas, president of The Design Collective Group—president of the Florida South Chapter in 1999 and national board chair in 2010.
