The Mosswood Park Master Plan and new community center in Oakwood, Calif., has broken ground.

The project will be a vibrant destination for civic, cultural, social, educational, and recreational activities.

Designed by Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, along with Einwiller Kuehl and Art is Luv, the new mass timber building will integrate within the park. The park and center will be inclusive of a diverse community of users, accessible, flexible, and will be thoughtfully designed.

The new building will create a state-of-the art facility that will foster community, wellness, recreation, and learning. Targeting LEED Gold and Net Zero Ready, the project is estimated to be completed by summer of 2025.
