The State of New York is calling architects and designers to submit their proposals for the Hurricane Maria Memorial[2].

The memorial will honor the victims and survivors of Hurricane Maria that struck Puerto Rico on September 20, 2017. The new memorial will be located in Battery Park City in New York City.

Interested parties may apply as individuals or as part of a team by September 9. Applicants based outside of New York City may also apply.

A selection panel comprising the Hurricane Maria Memorial Commission with advisory design professionals and location site staff will select the finalists.
