Thermally Broken Accordion Bifold Doors
PRL’s thermally broken accordion bifold doors are made for indoor/outdoor passageways.
Built with thermally broken frames, the patio sliders prevent heat transfer to save on energy costs. A thermal break in the seal keeps interior temperatures stable, while weatherstripping minimizes air infiltration for greater element protection.
Ideal for tight quarters, these folding door walls tuck away into a side-stacked orientation by gliding the leading panel. The bifold sliders accept multiple glass types to increase energy efficiency, sound control, privacy, and hurricane protection.
We produce thermally broken accordion bifold doors in-house. Sold as complete systems, they include thermally broken doors and frames, top-hung rollers, floor guides, seal systems, and your choice of glass type and lock. We render our accordion sliders in many configurations with up to 16 panels per system. Offered in several finishes, with various bottom track floor guides.
- Configurations: In-line, 90-degree, multi-panel, and custom.
- Floor guides: No sill, high sill, low sill, and partially recessed ADA sill.
- Locks: Lever lock sets and deadbolts.
- Glass types: Low E, IG, sound control, privacy, SentryGlas®, and more.
