The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) is hosting its 79th annual conference from Feb. 14 to 17 in Huntington Beach, California.
This year’s theme is ‘Surf City,’ with optional events including a golf tournament and dolphin and whale watching. There will also be an awards banquet on the evening of Feb. 15.
“Nick Lehnert of KTGY Architecture and Planning will talk about fenestration choices and the enormous design changes forthcoming for housing, and we always look forward to hearing from the architect perspective,” said Rich Walker, conference emcee and AAMA’s CEO. “Additionally, Matt Beaudreau, our keynote speaker, will provide tips on selling to all generations, which is an important topic today. Finally, Heather Gadonniex of thinkstep will deliver a presentation on the ‘Why, How and Business Value of Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs),’ which will be of interest to the majority of our conference attendees.”
Immediately following the conference will be the AAMA Western Region Winter Summit in the same location; however, registration is separate.
Later this year, the AAMA National Summer Conference will be held at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio from June 12 to 15, and the National Fall Conference will take place in Savannah, Georgia from Sept. 25 to 28.
