The Cold-formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) is accepting entries for its annual awards program, recognizing outstanding and innovative cold-formed steel (CFS) framing projects, as well as individuals whose contributions have advanced the industry. This year’s recipients will be announced at the 2018 CFSEI Expo, held at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside Hotel in California on May 15 and 16.
Winning projects will be awarded in two categories:
- design excellence, recognizing outstanding structural design of new or renovated structures utilizing CFS products; and
- innovative detail, honoring any CFS framing detail that exemplifies creativity or ingenuity to solve a design challenge.
Additionally, the John P. Matsen Award for Distinguished Service will be presented to an individual who has volunteered significant time, talent, and resources to the CFS industry.
