UL search tool released

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has launched a free web-based search tool to help architects and specifiers develop safe, sustainable, code-compliant installations. UL Product Spec allows users to search by installation code, product type, products, systems or assemblies, and MasterFormat or UL category code. Searches will provide a comprehensive list of UL-certified fire-rated designs specific to the criteria provided. Advanced searches can include fire-resistive hourly ratings or manufacturer. Various fire-rated assemblies, systems, and designs can be located by using construction parameters, ratings and materials, or UL design numbers. The system is accessible on desktops, tablets, or smartphone at UL.com/productspec[1].
