Universal Orlando Resort unveils details about its grandest theme park

Universal Orlando Resort is set to unveil its theme park, Universal Epic Universe, in 2025. Positioned as a game changer in theme park entertainment, Epic Universe promises unparalleled immersive experiences with more than 50 attractions.

Celestial Park, the heart of Universal Epic Universe, is unveiled as the first world within the park. Spanning hectares (acres) of rolling gardens, water features, and pathways, Celestial Park’s architecture is inspired by astronomical and mythological elements. It is being planned to serve as a starting point for visitors, offering mixed-use functions, such as roller coaster adventures, dining, shopping, and more.

Celestial Park acts as the gateway to four additional worlds within Epic Universe, each accessed through majestic portals:

• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Ministry of Magic
• SUPER NINTENDO WORLD—Celebrating characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong
• How to Train Your Dragon, Isle of Berk—Based on the popular film franchise
• Dark Universe—A world of monsters shrouded in myth and mystery

The park also introduces attractions such as Starfall Racers, a dual-launch racing coaster, and Constellation Carousel, to serve as a grand centerpiece. Meanwhile, Astronomica will provide an interactive wet-play area. Retail locations such as the Nintendo Super Star Store and Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets will swell themed merchandise.

Epic Universe integrates energy efficiency and sustainable construction practices, marking Universal Destinations & Experiences’ commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility. More details about Universal Epic Universe will be unveiled in the coming months, including an interactive preview center at Universal CityWalk.
